Sangeeta Choudhury launches her book Rabindra Nath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam in Same Era

Life and works of Rabindra Nath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam have been documented by Dr Sangeeta Choudhury in her recently launched book, titled Rabindra Nath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam in Same Era.

Dr Choudhury is the president of Swar Saptak Society and is based out of Kolkata. Dr Choudhury has done her master’s from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata and PhD in vocal music from Panjab University. The launch was attended by eminent personalities like Balkar Sidhu, Prem Vij and Devraj Tyagi. Songs written by Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam were als performed.—TNS
