We have seen many actors who have dabbled in other professions before entering the television industry. One such actress is Shruti Anand, who made her debut with the show Teri Ladli Main and is currently seen as the lead in the Dangal TV show Mann Sundar. She worked in a corporate firm before entering showbiz.
Talking about the same, the actress says, “I used to work with a corporate firm as a content moderator where I used to work in night shifts and would go for auditions in the day. My dream was to become an actor but I had to do a job to support myself financially. But one day, I was so fed up with working on two things together, that I decided to quit my job and focus completely on my acting career. I was aware that quitting my job was a risk, but I had to do that to live my dream. The journey wasn’t easy at all. Initially, I faced hundreds of rejections, but I kept giving auditions and never lost hope. When I look back, I feel glad that I took a chance and got into acting.”
