Snehalta Vasaikar remembers her childhood days

Actress Snehlata Vasaikar, who essays the pivotal role of Gautamabaiaka Ahilya’s mother-in-law in Sony Entertainment Television’s show Punyashlok Ahilyabai, says that the show takes her back to her own sweet childhood days and how important it is to stay connected to one’s roots.

Says Snehlata, “Childhood memories are very important to us. They shape our thinking and future. When one has good childhood memories, they grow up to be happy individuals.”

She continues, “It’s all about reminiscing the little things — the smell of mom’s cooking as she made our favourite foods, the joy of running around with the neighbourhood kids, going for a Sunday treat of ice-cream with your dad, having a fun-filled vacation with the cousins, our birthdays… these experiences are what create long-lasting memories remain in our hearts and minds. If we carry our childhood within us, we never get older.”
