Star Plus is bringing its viewers a completely new-age show, Aanandi Baa Aur Emily, with Jazzy Ballerini as the lead character Emily. Starring alongside her are Mishkat Varma as Aarav and Kanchan Gupta in the role of a traditional mother-in-law, Aanandi Baa. Jazzy will be seen portraying the role of a videshi bahu in this show. Her list of acting credits is long when it comes to Indian cinema and television.

Jazzy shares, “I didn’t have much understanding of TV shows before I actually auditioned. But I was excited to find out more about the role. The audition process for my role on Aanandi Baa Aur Emily went very smoothly even though it was during lockdown times. Within a few days, I got the role. I honestly didn’t know at that time what I was getting myself into. I didn’t know how amazing this opportunity really was until I started filming. When I spoke to my friends about it, they were really supportive.”
