Viewers of Sony Television’s comedy show India’s Laughter Champion are in for a treat as the show will welcome everybody’s favourite doctor! An actor and comedian par excellence, Sunil Grover as Dr Mashoor Gulati will be seen as the Comedy Ke Sarpanch! This weekend, the show that will select its second set of comedians will see ventriloquist Vignesh Pande and mimicry artist Jayvijay Sachan win the hearts of the judges and the special guest. Complimenting Vignesh’s act, Sunil said, “I just want to say that we are extremely proud of you! You’re a rare gem and it’s fantastic to have you on India’s Laughter Champion!” He added, “I watched you, I listened to you, and I had so much fun! Where do you keep these voices hidden?”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
