Sunny Leone has landed herself in trouble after starring in the latest music video titled Madhuban. Sung by Kanika Kapoor, the song was released on music label Saregama last week. Several religious groups have taken an objection to the song, which has the lyrics ‘Madhuban mein Radhika naache’. They are bashing the song for Sunny‘s ‘obscene’ dance to such lyrics, as it hurts religious sentiments. On Sunday, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra took to social media and asked the makers to take down the video within three days or else an FIR will be filed against the makers as well as the actress.

Amid all the negative feedback, “Arrest Sunny Leone” was trending on Twitter. Following the backlash, Saregama released a statement that read, “In light of recent feedback and respecting the sentiments of our fellow countrymen, we will be changing the lyrics and the name of the song Madhuban. The new song will replace the old one across all platforms over the next three days.”— TMS
