Suraj’s big break
Suraj Pratap Singh, known for his roles in ‘Benaam Rishta’ (2024), ‘Tujhe Pana Chahta Hoon: Utkarsh Saxena’ (2020) and ‘Jaane De: Utkarsh Saxena’ (2020), is on cloud nine after landing his first lead role in Sun Neo’s upcoming romantic thriller ‘Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani’.
Suraj said, “I’ve been thrilled about this show ever since I read the script. I knew I had to land this role, so I practised non-stop for the mock shoots — even used my ring light as a co-actor! After completing three mock shoots, I went to the temple with my mum and the priest gave me a rudraksha. Right after that, I got the call saying I was selected! I honestly feel it is Mahadev’s blessing.”
He added, “Being chosen for this role feels like a dream come true and I’m so excited to bring this character to life. This is a new chapter for me and I can’t wait for the audience to see what we’ve been working on. The love story, the mystery — everything about the show feels special. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity.”
