Sushmita Sen’s ‘Aarya 3’ in development, Ram Madhvani says it’s time to ‘escalate the excitement’

Aarya is among the most popular Indian web series. The show marked the comeback of Sushmita Sen and is also her digital debut. After two successful seasons, the first also got an Emmy nomination, Aarya is all set to return for its third season.

Filmmaker Ram Madhvani said Aarya season 3 is in development. “Aarya Season 3 in Development Creator @madhvaniram , @sushmitasen47 , @disneyplushotstar & @endemolshineind collaborate once again to escalate the excitement,” he wrote on Instagram.

He shared a clip from the highpoints of the previous season, a photo of himself with the poster of the show and another shot with his team.

Sushmita Sen in an interview says, “It’s a new dawn for Aarya Sareen and she is fierce. In Season 3, she is going places and starting her own story free from the obstacles of her past.

Based on Dutch drama series Penoza, the crime-thriller revolves around Aarya (Sushmita), who joins a mafia gang and turns into a don to take revenge for her husband’s murder.
