The ‘Kaunspiracy’ theory: Taapsee, Vikrant and Harshvardhan-starrer Haseen Dillruba is a murder mystery

Writer Kanika Dhillon brings something new to the table with each of her films and she never disappoints. After Manmarziyaan and Judgementall Hai Kya, she is ready to enthral the audience with Haseen Dillruba. The trailer of this highly anticipated film featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane was finally dropped on Friday and the film seems to be a roller-coaster ride.

Haseen Dillruba is a mystery thriller helmed by Vinil Mathew. The film will have a direct-to-digital release on Netflix on July 2. Taapsee and Vikrant play husband and wife in the film, with Harshvardhan Rane coming into the picture to form a thrilling love triangle.

When Vikrant dies in a gruesome accident, all fingers point at Taapsee and Harshvardhan. In this gripping tale of love, seduction and deception, solving Vikrant’s death case becomes a task for the police.

Speaking about the film, Taapsee says, “It’s not just a beautifully written mystery, it has such wonderful characters involved which is candy in an actor’s hands. I am glad I got to experiment with my looks and performance with this one because I am definitely not the go-to person for this kind of character conventionally and we all love to take risks here.”
