When Indian actors star in Hollywood projects, it is a moment of pride for all of us. The gaps are finally closing in and we will soon see many of our desi stars making waves in Hollywood. The collaboration between the East and West has a lot to offer in the world of cinema. Have a look at the actors who are set to embark on their Hollywood journey…

Foundation stone: Kubbra Sait

Kubbra Sait is all set to star in Apple TV’s international mega original series Foundation, based on a series of novels by Isaac Asimov. The series has been created by David S Goyer and Josh Friedman and has Kubbra playing the role of Phara Keaen, a grand huntress from Planet Anacreon.

Step one: Alia Bhatt

While there is no official announcement yet, we hear that Alia Bhatt has signed up with William Morris Endeavour, the same agency that represents the likes of Gal Gadot and Charlize Theron, to name a few. Critically acclaimed and commercially applauded, we cannot wait to see the millennial star begin her Hollywood journey.

All for eccentricity: Sobhita Dhulipala

Sobhita Dhulipala will reportedly be seen alongside Sikander Kher as she will join the cast of Monkey Man. Speaking about the same, the actress says, “What appealed to me about the project was its collaborative spirit, a young and rather eccentric approach to the story and most certainly the people involved. I really enjoyed my character’s tender dilemmas; they were as glamorous as sorrowful.”

Snooping in US: Hrithik Roshan

Our Greek God is all set to make his debut in an American spy thriller. All set to play the parallel lead, the news has brought a lot of curiosity and excitement for his fans. It is only a matter of time before we see the star make the world swoon to his act and his dance moves.

True calling: Suniel Shetty

Suniel Shetty, who made his international debut in the British film Don’t Stop Dreaming, is now gearing up for his debut in an American film. Reportedly, the actor will be seen in a movie titled Call Centre. It’s an action film that will see Suniel in the lead role of a Sikh cop.

Man, it’s him: Sikandar Kher

Sikandar Kher is all set to play his part in Dev Patel’s directorial debut, Monkey Man. The actor has been known to play unusual characters, so it will be truly interesting to see what the actor has to offer in this project.

In the big league: Dhanush

The superstar of South Indian cinema, Dhanush, will soon be seen in The Gray Man. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film is an action thriller based on the debut novel by Mark Greaney. It reportedly also stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans and will star Dhanush as the head of one of the teams that is after freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry.

Been there, done that!

Huma Qureshi: The Maharani actress featured in none other than renowned Hollywood director, Zack Snyder’s action-thriller based on Zombies, called Army of the Dead. It was released on Netflix this year in May.

Priyanka Chopra: She made her Hollywood series debut with Quantico and then there was no looking back. The actress soon played the villain in 2017 Baywatch movie which had Zac Afrron and The Rock as the lead characters. She even produced a Hollywood project, The White Tiger which she starred in. She has two upcoming projects, a film titled The Matrix Resurrections releasing on December 22 and a mini-series called Citadel. Shruti Haasan: Set in Jason Bourne’s universe, Shruti Haasan’s Hollywood debut was in Treadstone, available on Amazon Prime Video, where she portrayed Nira Patel, a woman from Delhi.

Ali Fazal: The actor who appeared in 2008 Indian-American comedy, The Other End of the Line, before laying a solid foundation in Bollywood with Fukrey, Ali has come a long way. And films like Furious 7, Oscar-nominated Victoria and Abdul would just be stardust to his much-anticipated filmy career. He will be seen in a prominent role in Death On The Nile.
