August 5: Thirteen Lives on Amazon Prime Video

This rescue drama is based on the real-life incident of 12 Thai junior soccer players and their coach, who were trapped in a dangerous cave in Thailand for over two weeks in 2018. All of them were rescued through a massive international rescue operation. Colin Farrell, Viggo Mortensen, and Joel Edgerton play diving team players, who leave no stone unturned to save the boys.

August 5: Darlings on Netflix

Produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt and Gaurav Verma, the film is directed by Jasmeet K Reen. Starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew, Darlings is a dark comedy drama which explores the lives of a mother-daughter duo trying to find their place in Mumbai, seeking courage and love in exceptional circumstances while fighting against all odds.
