The 43rd edition of Annual Chandigarh Sangeet Sammelan will begin on November 12. The three-day music event is being organised by Indian National Theatre in association with the Durga Das Foundation. The music festival will be held in the auditorium of Strawberry Fields High School in Sector 26.

Some outstanding artistes from different parts of the country will be performing.

Vinita Gupta, Indian National Theatre’s honorary secretary, says, “The opening day will present Dhananjay Hegde, which will be followed by a concert by well known sitarist Pandit Harvinder Sharma. On November 13, Shashwati Mandal and Shashank Maktedar will give their vocal presentations and Shashwati Mandal will present her vocal recital. On November 14 Ashwani Bhide Deshpande will present a vocal performance in the morning.” On the same day Pandit Harvinder Sharma will present a sitar recital.
