Popular TikTok sensation Siya Kakkar committed suicide on Thursday. She was just 16 and was famous for posting videos of lip-syncing and dancing on popular tracks. The suicide came as a shock as her manager Arjun Sarin had discussed a new song collaboration with Siya on Wednesday, just a day prior to her suicide. According to Arjun, she seemed happy and jovial.

In a statement, Arjun said, “This must be due to something personal. Work-wise she was doing well.”

Although the initial reports suggest that Siya was under depression, however, the exact reason for Siya’s death is still unknown. Her parents have apparently demanded a detailed police investigation.
