After an intense six-month-long shoot in Mumbai, the team of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups, starring Yash, is now gearing up for its final schedule in Bengaluru. The film, touted as one of the most ambitious action spectacles in Indian cinema, will wrap production after completing this concluding leg.

The Mumbai schedule, spanning 45 days across various city locations, featured high-octane action set-pieces choreographed by renowned Hollywood action director JJ Perry. The schedule was logistically demanding and mounted on a massive scale, marking a significant milestone in the film’s production.

A source close to the project described the recently wrapped schedule as “undoubtedly the film’s most challenging and ambitious stretch, featuring some of the biggest and most elaborate action sequences ever attempted in Indian cinema.”

With most of the principal photography now complete, the crew is set to move to Bengaluru in the last week of September. The final schedule will focus on several key sequences, after which filming will officially conclude. Interestingly, the film’s journey comes full circle, returning to the city where the shoot had originally begun.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English — an approach designed to cater to both Indian and international audiences. It will also be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam to maximise its reach across regions.

Backed by Venkat K Narayana’s KVN Productions and Yash’s own Monster Mind Creations, the film is scheduled for a global theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
