Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest-running shows on TV in India having a huge fanbase built over the years.

Now, if the rumours turn out to be true, lead actor Mohsin Khan who plays Kartik on the show will bid adieu to the show. Reportedly, Mohsin is planning to move on and since the show is going in for a generation leap, he wouldn’t want to play an older character.

So, the actor has decided to take a short break. Also, he would now want to try out different mediums like OTT and movies.

According to a source, “It’s all amicable between him and the production house. Mohsin has always considered producer Rajan Shahi his mentor and guide and he too has spoken highly about Mohsin in his interviews.”

But, on the other hand, it is also being reported that the makers are planning some interesting twists for Mohsin. “He is likely to be a part of show for some more time after which his exit will be planned,” added the source.
