David Dhawan was recently hospitalised in Mumbai due to diabetes. As per reports, the director is suffering from advanced-stage diabetes and when his health deteriorated, he was rushed to the hospital for medical care.

David has now returned home and is recovering. Varun, who is currently busy promoting his film Jug Jugg Jeeyo, opened up about his father’s health at a promotional event.

Varun said, “People love my dad and we’ve got him back home now. It’s tough to work when your father is not well.” —TMS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
