Veteran singer Shabbir Kumar is all praise for Danish Khan

Indian Idol’s current season has been graced by several veteran artistes. One such veteran playback singer, who will be seen on Indian Idol stage this weekend, is Shabbir Kumar. The special episode will be themed as India Ki Farmaish.

During the shoots, the contestants welcomed Shabbir Kumar and sang his popular songs as a tribute to him. However, it was contestant Danish Khan who won Shabbir’s heart. Danish sang Jab Hum Jawan Honge and Zindagi Har Kadam Ek Nai Jung Hai, which really amazes everyone present on sets.

Post his performance, praising Danish’s performance Shabbir Kumar said, “Both the songs are very close to my heart and you have sung them beautifully. I am in awe of your talent and I believe you are meant for bigger and greater things in life. I hope to see you prosper in your music career. My wishes are with you. God Bless.”

On hearing heaps of compliments from the judges, Danish said, “I am over the moon! I was so nervous to perform these songs because they are such acclaimed evergreen songs. I hoped to do justice to it.”
