“I believe it’s very relatable. Our objective is very clear and loud. Our show Dahej Dasi is based on a true incident. We want people to be aware about the evil practice of dowry. Even today, there are many states in India where dowry is taken in the name of marriage, and along with dowry money Dahej Dasi will also come. But we are making sure to not judge everyone. We are creating a scenario through the show where the audience will come to see how the lives of these girls are ruined because of the selfishness of the family,” he says.
