Watch: Ayushman Khurrana renders poetic tribute to ‘frontline warriors’ amid Covid lockdown

Actor Ayushman Khurrana has lauded the contribution of medical professionals, sanitation workers and others who are at the forefront in the battle against coronavirus.

“This is for all the Frontline Warriors, fighting for us, saving us, risking their lives for us and our families against coronavirus! Have written these words to express my gratitude. I salute you. India salutes you. Jai Hind!,” the actor posted on Twitter along with a video.

In the poetic tribute, Ayushman said “when the situation will become normal, do give due respect to those who are now putting their life in danger for us”.

The current situation is the result of the “collective karma of mankind”, he says. “We are Bollywood heroes in name only. We can only give money and weapons to fight this battle. It’s these people who have to face the danger head-on. And we only need to stay at home.”
