Sukhwinder Singh to perform at Dastaan-e-Shahadat theme park at Chamkaur Sahib
Meanwhile, Bollywood singer and performer Sukhwinder Singh is all set to hit the stage on November 19, Gurpurab, at Dastaan-e-Shahadat (theme park) at Chamkaur Sahib. For the inauguration of the theme park, he would be the star performer, along with other Punjabi singers.
Sukhwinder says, “The state-of-the-art ‘Dastaan-e-Shahadat’ (Theme Park), depicting the glorious history of the Sikhs from Pehli Patshahi to Dasvin Patshahi and Heritage Street at Chamkaur Sahib are amazing. It will be close to a 45-minute performance and Surjit Pattar ji has written what I am going to perform for the Punjabi audience world over.”
Sukhwinder Singh calls it a great opportunity to connect with Punjabi history. He adds, “It is a tribute from my side to the history of Sikhs. The singer, who is visiting Chamkaur Sahib for the first time, says his first-ever appearance on television was for Gurbani, Kal Taran Guru Nanak Aaya, on Doordarshan.
