As per a few reports, if the ticket prices were not capped on account of Cinema Lovers Day, the film could have crossed the Rs 10 crore mark.

Yami Gautam-starrer Article 370 was released in theatres on February 23. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and produced by Aditya Dhar, the film took a pleasant start at the box office by minting Rs 5.75 crore on the opening day. It also stars Arun Govil and Priyamani in pivotal roles.

As per a few reports, if the ticket prices were not capped on account of Cinema Lovers Day, the film could have crossed the Rs 10 crore mark. Article 370 is based on the PMO’s politically charged decision to revoke the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir.

The Central government on August 5, 2019, revoked Article 370, which gave special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, and bifurcated it into the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
