• Posts Offered: IES Officers (Grade A) & Managerial Posts in various engineering disciplines

• Notification Release Date: Initially scheduled for September 17, 2025, but postponed (new date to be announced)

• Prelims Exam Date: February 8, 2026

• Prelims Admit Card Release: February 2026

• Prelims Answer Key Release: February 2026

• Age Limit: 21-30 years (with age relaxation for reserved categories)

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in relevant disciplines

Exam Pattern

• Preliminary Exam (Objective)

• Paper I: General Studies & Engineering Aptitude (200 marks, 2 hours)

• Paper II: Specific Engineering Discipline (300 marks, 3 hours)

• Mains Exam (Descriptive)

• Two papers from the concerned discipline (300 marks each, 3 hours each)

• Personality Test/Interview (200 marks)

• Application Form: Available online on the UPSC website with the issuance of the notification

• Application Fees: Rs. 200 for UR/OBC/EWS categories (no fee for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates) ¹
