Execution chamber ready, curbs on convicts in Tihar
New Delhi, December 13
The secret shifting of Pawan Kumar Gupta, one of the Nirbhaya case convicts, from Mandoli jail to Tihar jail and restrictions on the other three convicts have sent shivers down the spine of all four.
“As soon as Pawan reached Tihar, we banned communication between all four. Earlier, the three used to talk among themselves during daytime,” said jail sources.
The jail administration is busy with the preparations to hang them. “The gallows are being repaired by inmates. Activities in the execution chamber and increased security signal something is on the cards,” they said. — IANS
