Four members of a family killed in Nuh accident
The truck driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, fled the scene, leaving his vehicle behind
A road accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon on the Ferozepur Jhirka-Biwan road in Nuh district, claiming the lives of four members of a family.
The victims were identified as Tasreef, 38, his wife Sahruni, 35, and their two sons, Ahsan, 15 and Arman, 10, residents of Khuspuri village under Nagina police station.
According to eyewitnesses, the family was riding a motorcycle when a speeding truck hit them from behind, crushing them beneath its wheels. The family members were rushed to the hospital, however, the doctors declared them brought dead.
The truck driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, fled the scene, leaving his vehicle behind. The police have seized the truck and registered a case against the driver.
Inspector Jagbir Singh, SHO of City police station, Ferozepur Jhirka, confirmed that the family had been informed about the tragic incident, and the bodies have been sent postmortem examination to Mandi Khera hospital.
The local authorities have taken charge of the situation, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
