Tarn Taran, November 23

The two-day floating light and sound show in Beas, being organised by the Information and Public Relations Department, concluded at Gagrewal village here on Saturday. The show was dedicated to the 550th Parksah Purb of Guru Nanak Dev.

Four presentations of the show were conducted on November 22 and November 23 in the district. Thousands of devotees from various villages of the area viewed the shows, which showcased the life and philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev. The atmosphere was filled with a deep sense of gratitude, peace and dedication for causes ailing humanity.

Addressing on the occasion, MP Jasbir Singh Dimpa said the main rationale behind these shows was to make sure that the younger generation gets to know about the philosophy of the Guru, which was based on communal harmony, peace and amity, brotherhood and considered humanity.

MLA Harminder Singh Gill, too, addressed on the occasion. Among others who were present on the occasion included Aditional Session Judge PS Rai, ADC (General) Sandeep Kumar, Kadhoor Sahib SDM Rajesh Sharma and representatives of social and religious organisations.
