Gungun on playing Yashodha
During the current phase of social distancing, Zee TV has taken its viewers on a spiritual journey. Narrating the fascinating stories of the natkhat Krishna and depicting the mischievous side to this makhan chor, Zee TV has brought back the show, Paramavatar Shri Krishna. Nirnay Samadhiya played Lord Krishna. However, it was Gungun Uprari, who played Yashodha, won hearts. Gungun said, “Mythological stories have always intrigued me and Yashodha as a character has always been very close to my heart. I knew that to play her on screen would be a rather challenging job with absolutely no scope for faults, but it was no less than a dream.”
