1 held for forcing girl into prostitution

The Ambala police have arrested a man for forcing a 22-year-old girl into prostitution.

The accused has been identified as Rohit alias Yogesh.

The victim, in her complaint at Women Police Station, Ambala City, had alleged that three persons — Rohit alias Yogesh, Jai and a woman — had been forcing her into prostitution.

Women Police Station SHO Devender Kaur said: “The victim is a native of Nepal and has been working in Karnal for two years now as a household help. She was sent to Ambala and forced into prostitution a year back.”
