The police have registered a case against three persons for running a meat shop illegally. One of the them has been arrested.

City Police station SHO Inspector Radhey Shyam said a joint team of the police and the Municipal Council, which raided the spot, found the accused butchering a male chicken at an unauthorised shop located on the Sohna road. They then disposing of the remnants in the open. The accused, who were identified as Guddu, Akram and Ikhlaq, could not produce any licence or document.

Akram and Ikhlaq managed to flee during the investigation while Guddu was nabbed by officials.
