Gurugram: 1 more held in model Divya Pahuja murder case

In a significant development in the murder of model Divya Pahuja, the crime branch has arrested Balraj Gill from West Bengal.
Balraj and his aide Ravi Bandra had reportedly disposed of Divya’s body, which is yet to be found. Ravi continues to evade arrest. Following Balraj’s arrest, Divya’s body may be found soon.
Previously, the police had recovered a BMW car that was used to transport the body to Patiala in Punjab.
Divya, an accused in the alleged fake encounter with gangster Sandeep Gadoli, was released on bail after serving seven years in prison. She was killed on January 2.
The police said she was blackmailing Abhijeet Singh, 56, a hotel owner in the city, who allegedly shot her to death at one of his properties. Abhijeet, along with his two employees Hemraj (28) and Om Prakash (23), were earlier arrested in connection with the case. The police later arrested his girlfriend Megha, who helped in removing all evidence.
