The Gurugram police have arrested a person for his alleged involvement in vehicle thefts. A total of 11 stolen motorcycles and a master key were recovered from him.
According to the police, the accused was identified as Sharafat, a native of Malab village in district Nuh. He had recently stolen a motorcycle in Badshahpur on March 31. The accused was arrested on Friday after he got a fracture in his hand when he fell down from a stolen motorcycle while trying to escape police.
“The accused confessed to 10 other motorcycle-theft incidents. We are questioning him,” said a spokesperson for the Gurugram police.
