The Gurugram cyber police have arrested 11 cyber fraudsters, including a woman for allegedly duping hundreds of people across the country of over Rs 14.7 crore in last month. The police have recovered 10 mobiles, a laptop and six SIM cards from their possession. DCP Cyber Siddhant Jain said the arrested accused used to commit crimes of fraud by transferring money through task-based fraud, FedEx fraud, share market and social media by pretending to be experts.

Jain said after examining these six SIM cards and reviewing the data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), it was found that the fraud of about Rs 14.7 crore had been committed by the accused spread across the country.
