Last year, 69,650 people got registration done and efforts are being made to surpass the previous year’s mark and also improve daily participation. Besides the students and general public from different states of India, people from abroad also join the competition.” Like the previous year, there are two (public and student) categories and every day 20 winners from each category will be selected. However, instead of a cash prize, the winners will receive memorabilia along with certificates so that people could display the same at their respective houses, he said.

The official added, “This year, some changes have been made in the competition. Majority of questions will be related to the Gita and different stories depicting daily life problems will be used to ask questions. For the convenience of the participants, a chatbot (IGM Quiz Assistant) has also been launched in which the participants can get answers to their queries related to the competition, rules, registration, prize and certificates and motivator programme. During the competition, 55 questions will be asked. The aim is to educate people, especially youngsters, about the Gita and make them discuss the same.”
