The arrests took place across various locations, including Malab Bai Kachha Rasta, Tauru Valley, Bibipur Turn, Tai village, Ghaseda, Nizampur and Nangli Road. The accused used social media platforms to advertise fraudulent schemes, tricking people into sending money. They also used fake SIM cards to create obscene videos, threatening victims with viral exposure unless they paid extortion money into fake accounts.
