114 complaints registered at Sirsa shivir

A total of 114 complaints were registered at the Samadhan Shivir at the Mini-Secretariat on Monday. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Vivek Bharti listened to people’s problems and instructed the officials concerned to resolve them promptly.

People presented issues related to family ID cards, property IDs, ration cards, electricity, water supply, police matters and various social security pensions. Most of these complaints were resolved on the spot. The ADC said these solution camps were organised every working day from 9 to 11 am at the Deputy Commissioner’s office at the district level and at the SDM’s office at the sub-division level.

Citizens facing problems in availing government schemes or any other problems were able to get them resolved at these camps. For instance, one Ramdhan visited the camp to get the date of birth of his wife rectified on the family ID card; he left the camp a happy man as the error was corrected immediately. Similarly, Gurjeet Singh from Jandwala Jattan village managed to get anomalies regarding the family income on his family ID card removed on the spot.
