12 IPS, 3 HPS transferred

The Haryana Government today transferred 12 IPS officers and three HPS officers with immediate effect. It included posting of four new district SPs.

Rakesh Kumar Arya is the new IGP, Administration, and IGP, Law and Order, while OP Narwal is now the Commissioner of Police, Faridabad.

Surinder Pal Singh has been appointed as the DIG, HAP, Madhuban, and Lokender Singh is the new SP, Panipat. Nitika Gahlaut has been given the charge of SP, Telecom, in addition to her present duties of SP, State Crime Record Bureau and SP, Haryana State Narcotic Control Bureau. Narendra Bijarniya is the new SP Bhiwani along with SP, STF, while Varun Singla has been appointed as the SP, Kurukshetra. — TNS
