As many as 12 MLAs of various political parties from the state are set to participate in the prestigious NCSL Legislative Summit 2025, scheduled to start in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on August 4. The event is being organised by the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) in collaboration with National Legislators’ Conference Bharat (NLC Bharat).
Senior Congress leader and Rohtak MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra is also part of the group, who left for Boston on Saturday. Other MLAs are Ashok Arora, Aftab Ahmed, Akram Khan, Indu Raj Narwal, Anil Yadav, Balram Dangi, Aditya Devilal, Aditya Surjewala, Devender Kadyan, Nikhil Madan, and Satpal Jamba. A total of 130 MLAs from 21 political parties across India will attend the workshop.
The MLAs will join legislators from various countries to discuss critical issues related to governance, public policy, climate change, education reform, healthcare, digital innovation, and economic development. The summit will also include professional development workshops and networking sessions, allowing delegates to learn new legislative strategies and find practical solutions to challenges faced in their home states.
The global summit is considered one of the largest gatherings of legislators, policy experts, and political leaders from across the world. It aims at providing a dynamic platform for legislative exchange, policy innovation and global cooperation.
