16 luxury cars gutted as fire breaks out in workshop

About 16 luxury cars were burnt to ashes in a fire that broke out in a luxury car workshop in the Sector 41 area. No employee was present in the workshop at the time of the fire. After receiving information, the fire brigade team reached the spot and doused the flames after over three hours of efforts.

The incident took place around 3 am on Friday at the Berlin Motor Workshop, located in Moti Vihar, Sector 41. About 16 high-end cars were parked in the workshop when the fire broke out. In the fire, six Mercedes cars, two Audi Q5s, one BMW, one Rang Rover, one Volvo, one Ford Eco Sport, an Open Estra, two Jaguars and some scrapped vehicles were gutted. The cost of the vehicles destroyed in the fire was stated to be around Rs 7 crore. — OC
