16 tech university graduates get jobs

As many as 16 Bachelor of Technology (BTech) students in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT) at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology have been placed in Tata Consultancy Services.
Assistant director of placement cell, Aditya Vir Singh, said Aman Verma, Sachin Nain, Sahil Lohan and Saurabh Jain from BTech CSE; Gautam Jain from BTech IT; and Richa Mathur from BTech ECE have been selected for the TCS digital profile with a CTC of Rs 7 lakh per annum (LPA).
He said Ankit Yadav, Pankaj Gupta, Rohit Goyal and Vivek Gupta from BTech CSE; Manjeet Rawat from BTech IT; Nitya Goyal, Sharda Jha, Sunny Agarwal, Tushar and Subhangam Dey from BTech ECE have been recruited in the TCS ninja profile for Tata Consultancy Services with a CTC of Rs 3.30 LPA.
Vice-chancellor Narsi Ram Bishnoi congratulated the students and said, “The recruited students reflect the university’s dedication to holistic development, emphasising its comprehensive grooming activities that prepare students for both professional and personal growth.”
Director, placement, Pratap Singh, said selection by TCS has been done through its TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT) hiring process, which took place in two steps. He said an online aptitude and coding test was conducted in the first round and the second round comprised a TCS ninja and digital profile, a technical, management, and HR interview. He said out of the 16 students, 10 have been offered the TCS Ninja profile with a CTC of Rs 3.30 LPA, and 6 have been offered the TCS Digital profile with a CTC of Rs 7 LPA. —TNS
