16 villages, 6 wards in Jind declared drug-free by police

"Drug addiction impacts not just an individual but entire families and communities. With joint efforts of all stakeholders, Jind could soon become the first drug-free district in Haryana. Tackling drug abuse required a dual approach, addressing both the supply chain and reducing demand within society. There is need for the families and social organisations to play a proactive role in guiding and protecting the youth." - Dr M Ravi Kiran, ADGP, Hisar Range
