17 NIT faculty recognised by Stanford varsity
The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, today said its 17 faculty members had been recognised among the top 2 per cent of scientists globally, according to the latest survey conducted by Stanford University, USA, for 2024.
The faculty members include Dr Mahesh Pal, Dr Sandeep Sood, Dr Rajesh Sharma, Dr Ravi P Singh, Dr Ankit Kumar Jain, Dr Munish Bhatia, Dr Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Dr Rajeev Rathi, Dr Jatinder Kumar, Dr Ashwani Kumar, Dr ASV Ravi Kanth, Dr Lalit Thakur, Dr Prakash Chand, Dr Mohit Dua, Dr D Amilan Jose, Dr Amit Prakash, and Dr H D Chalak.
Incharge Public Relations NIT Dr PC Tiwari said their inclusion in this elite list highlighted their impactful research and dedication to advancing knowledge in their respective disciplines.
The Director of NIT, Kurukshetra, Dr BV Ramana Reddy, stated, “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty members. Their contributions not only elevate our institute but also reflect high-impact research.” Notably, this year’s count has increased from 16 faculty members who were included in last year’s list.
