Panipat: 19 UHBVN employees not found on seats, reply sought

After 19 employees in the suburban office of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) were not found on their seats during a surprise check on Thursday, the XEN (suburban) has served a show-cause notice on them, seeking their explanation within a week.

As per information, complaints were received from people that officials did not meet in the offices and that they had to wait for them for a long time.

Following the complaints, XEN (suburban) Aaditya Kundu deputed SDO Narender Jaglan to keep a check on the employees. The SDO conducted a surprise check and found 19 employees absent.

Kundu said as senior officials were busy with ‘Samadhan Shivir’ and ‘Janta Darbar’ called by the Minister at various villages, the employees started taking advantage of it due to which public dealing was affected and several complaints were received from people. All 19 employees had been marked absent, he said. “Besides, show-cause notices have been issued to all employees and their reply had been sought within seven days,” Kundu maintained.
