Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) in Sirsa is celebrating the recognition of two faculty members, Professor Joginder Duhan and Dr Sanju Bala Dhull, by Stanford University as part of the world’s top 2 per cent scientists. The prestigious acknowledgment highlights their exceptional contributions in their fields.

Professor Joginder Duhan, head of the zoology department, has over 25 years of experience in teaching and research, focusing on microbiology. He has received several awards, including the Young Scientist Award from the Association of Microbiologists of India, and has published more than 130 research papers.

Dr Sanju Bala Dhull, head of the food science and technology department, brings over 17 years of expertise. Her research encompasses bio-molecules, food films, and vegetarian product development, with over 130 publications and seven authored books to her credit.

Vice-Chancellor professor Ajmer Singh Malik congratulated both professors for their achievements, which not only elevate their personal careers but also enhance the university’s international reputation.
