The Nuh cyber police have arrested two cyber criminals and seized fake SIM cards, mobile phones and other evidence of fraud from their possession. Two separate FIRs have been registered at Bichhor and Nuh Cyber Police Stations.
According to the police, during patrolling on Tuesday, information was received that a cyber-fraudster was waiting for a ride on the Nai-Hathan village road at Tirwada turn. The police took immediate action and detained the accused, identified as Musharraf alias Gulzar, a resident of Naheda village in Nuh district.
Another cyber fraudster, identified as Adil Hussain, a resident of Papdi village in Nuh district, was arrested from Nuh. Two mobile phones were also seized from his possession.
“Evidence of fake social media accounts and suspicious chats was found in the mobile phones and SIM cards seized from both of the accused. We are questioning them,” said the spokesperson of Nuh police.
