2 illegal dhabas razed
Karnal, December 18
The District Town Planning Department today demolished two unauthorised dhabas near National Highway 44 in Nilokheri.
As per the authorities, these dhabas had been constructed without obtaining any change of land use (CLU) certificate from the department.
Vikram Kumar, District Town Planner, said they had served notices on these dhaba owners to obtain CLU permission, but they continued to run their establishments without doing the needful.
“We have now taken the step and demolished both structures,” he said. He said more than 40 dhabas were being run without obtaining CLU nod and similar action would be taken in the coming days. — TNS
