2 injured in Gurugram blaze

Two people sustained burn injuries after a gas cylinder blast in Wazirabad here on late yesterday night. In another incident, a roadside dhaba was gutted on Sohna road here today afternoon.

The Fire Department said a fire broke out in a shop in Wazirabad in which Neeraj and Ravi, both residents of Uttar Pradesh were injured. “They were rushed to a private hospital and then referred to Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi,” the department said. A senior fire officer said that over 24 families’ live in the building where the fire broke out. After getting information regarding the incident, four fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the blaze.
