2 more accused arrested in BSP leader Harbilas Rajjumajra’s murder case
The Ambala police have arrested two more accused in connection with the murder of BSP leader Harbilas Rajjumajra. The accused, Abhishek from Shahzadpur and Rajan from Naraingarh in Ambala, were apprehended after a brief exchange of fire in the Shahzadpur area on Thursday.
Both accused suffered bullet injuries to their legs and were taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Shahzadpur for treatment. They were later referred to Civil Hospital Ambala City.
According to the police, the CIA-1 unit had been searching for the accused. When the accused spotted the CIA-1 team, they opened fire, prompting the officials to retaliate. Two weapons were seized from their possession.
The police confirmed that both accused were involved in the murder case. Their backgrounds are being verified, and further investigation is underway.
This development comes a day after the main shooter, Sagar, was killed in an encounter with the STF Haryana and Ambala police. Sagar’s body was handed over to his family after the postmortem examination.
