On the occasion of Independence Day, 13 officers and personnel of the Haryana Police have been selected for the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPMDS) and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PMMS) in recognition of their outstanding and commendable services.
Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Kapur congratulated the entire police force on the announcement by the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the conferment of medals on 13 Haryana Police officers and personnel. He said the national-level recognition of the bravery, dedication and tireless efforts of our officers and personnel would not only inspire the awardees, but also serve as a motivation for the entire force. The DGP expressed hope that this accomplishment will provide energy and determination to everyone to deliver even more exemplary work in the future. He extended best wishes to all police personnel to continue serving with the same dedication and courage.
A Haryana Police spokesperson said two Haryana Police officers had been honoured with the prestigious President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, while 11 other officers and personnel have been awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service. Sibash Kabiraj, Commissioner of Police, Panchkula, and Kuldeep Singh, IG, SVACB, have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
Additionally, those honoured with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service include Suresh Kumar, DSP (Traffic), Panipat; Rajesh Kumar, ACP, Faridabad; Inspector Rishi Pal, in-charge, economic cell, Ambala; Inspector Harkesh Kumar, Sunaria, Rohtak; Inspector Mahabir Singh, IRB, Bhondsi; Inspector Joginder Singh, HAP, Madhuban; Inspector Dharmender, HSENB, Panchkula; Inspector Rajesh Kumar, IT Cell, Dial 112, Panchkula; Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar, Rohtak; Sub-Inspector Yashpal Singh, Faridabad; and Sub-Inspector Sohan Lal, CM residence.
