Acting on the complaint, the police arrested both accused within 24 hours and registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
According to the complaint lodged by the principal of a private school, the incident occurred on November 20 when the school bus, plying on its regular route from Narnaul to Totaheri, Sirohi Bahali, Dhani Bayawali, Dhani Bhandawali, Mohanpur Bypass and Kalba, was intercepted by a black-tinted Bolero without a number plate. The bus was being driven by Sudesh, with Ravi Dutt working as the conductor.
The complainant stated that the Bolero occupants allegedly showed a pistol-like object to the bus driver and threatened him, warning him to stop taking that route or discontinue operating the school bus in the area. Following this, the police registered a case at Nangal Choudhary Police Station and launched an immediate probe.
“In a coordinated operation, the CIA Narnaul team apprehended the two accused, identified as Praveen of Mohanpur and Rohit of Dhani Bayawali (Sirohi Bahali village). During interrogation, the police recovered a Bolero vehicle and two toy pistols, which were seized,” said the police spokesperson. He added that the accused had issued the threat over a personal dispute.
