The minor girl (17), a resident of Yamunanagar, in her complaint to the police, stated that after a dispute with her father, she came to Pehowa to stay with a woman known to her. After a couple of days, the woman started forcing her to have physical relations with two men. Later, she was married to a Karnal resident.

“I was married without my consent and sent with them forcefully. He also consummated the marriage. After I came to know about the poor health condition of my mother, I asked my husband to take me to my mother, but he refused. I managed to escape, but they caught me near Taraori,” she alleged.
