23-year-old found murdered in Haryana's Jhajjar
A 23-year-old man was found murdered near a canal in Mehrana village here with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and chest.
The body of the victim, identified as Mohit, was discovered on Monday morning by villagers out on their regular walk, who immediately alerted his family and the police.
Family members, including Mohit’s uncle Virendra, stated that he was last seen speaking to someone near his home on Sunday evening. A suspicious car was reportedly seen in the vicinity, and Mohit went missing shortly afterward. His body was discovered the following morning, leading to a wave of anger among the villagers.
The police assured the locals that they would thoroughly investigate the case and make an arrest within 72 hours. A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has been called to assist with the investigation, and the body has been sent for post-mortem at the Civil Hospital in Jhajjar.
The victim’s family has warned of blocking the road if the killers are not apprehended within the next 72 hours, demanding swift justice for Mohit.
